  he Last date of application (for student) under AICTE-Pragati/Saksham/Swanath Scholarship Schemes (Degree & Diploma) for the Academic Year 2024-25 running through National Scholarship Portal (NSP) has been extended upto 15th December 2024.   The Last date of application (for student) under AICTE-Post Graduate (PG) Scholarship Scheme for the Academic Year 2024-25 running through on AICTE Portal is 15th December 2024.

Global Developer Corps (GDC) Artificial Intelligence Workforce

AICTE, along with Pupilfirst played a pioneering role in creating the United Nations recognized Digital Public Good “CARE” by initiating the Global Developer Corps (GDC) programme to identify and train the brightest engineering students. AICTE GDC fellowsfrom the batch 2021 created the Oxygen Dashboards for COVID-19 War Rooms during the delta wave crisis of May 2021. The batch 2022 expanded the capabilities to create the TeleICU systems now deployed in 206 district hospitals across nine states..

AICTE POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP (PDF) 2024-25

The main objective of AICTE Post-Doctoral Fellowship is to encourage Indian Engineering, Management, Design, Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Applied Sciences, Planning, Computer application, Applied Arts Crafts & Design, Inter Disciplinary Area scholars who have completed their Ph.D and wish to pursue a regular career in research and development.

AICTE YASHASVI (YOUNG ACHIEVERS’ SCHOLARSHIP AND HOLISTIC ACADEMIC SKILLS VENTURE INITIATIVE) SCHEME 2024

A scholarship scheme from AICTE for meritorious students seeking admission in core branches of Engineering in order to motivate students to pursue engineering education at Diploma and UG level in the core branches of engineering. The main objective of the scheme is to encourage students to pursue technical education in core branches of engineering i.e. Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering in AICTE approved technical institutions.

AICTE-Mitacs Globalink Research Internship (GRI) Scheme

Scheme to foster cross-border partnerships focussed on creating a platform that opens the path for collaborative research between Canada and India to a wider pool of student talent in India.

AICTE AURA(Augmenting Utilization of Research Assets) 2024 Scheme

For promoting the utilization of I-STEM (India Science Technology Engineering facilities Map), AICTE is launching a scheme named AICTE AURA (Augmenting Utilization of Research Assets) 2024, by providing the financial aid of Rs 2 lakhs to full time/ regular faculty of AICTE approved institutions, students of PG Scholarship Scheme/ ADF Scheme/ QIP Scheme of AICTE and all students of Diploma/ Under Graduate/ Post Graduate studying in AICTE approved Institutions to boost research and mobility of researchers. The aim of this initiative is to augment existing research by utilization of public funded hardware and software R&D facilities mapped by I-STEM

AICTE – SWANATH SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

AICTE has approved 'AICTE – SWANATH SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME' for children from any one of the following categories:
1. Orphan
2. Either or both parents died due to Covid-19
3. Wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed)
to provide them financial support of Rs. 50,000/- per annum for every year of study.

AICTE LILAVATI AWARD

AICTE intends to seek applications for AICTEs LILAVATI AWARD-2021-22 based on the theme “Women Empowerment” from the eligible teams of AICTE approved institutions, who have undertaken remarkable intervention for the cause and made an impact that showcases their work under eight different sub-themes.

PG Scholarship

Scholarship is awarded to full time GATE/GPAT qualified students admitted to M.E./ M. Tech/ M. Arch and M.Pharma courses in AICTE approved Institutions/Colleges @Rs. 12,400/- PM/ student.

AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF)

Admitting full time meritorious research scholars by providing research fellowship who wants to seek admission to Ph.D. in AICTE approved Technical Institutes/University Departments for carrying out research in thrust areas

Pragati Scholarship

Scholarship/Contingency is awarded to meritorious girls taking admission in AICTE approved Technical institution at Degree/ Diploma. Total 10000 scholarship are given @ Rs 50000 as incidentals each year.

Saksham Scholarship

Scholarship/Contingency is awarded to Differently abled students taking admission in AICTE approved Technical institution at Degree/ Diploma. Scholarship given @ Rs 50000 as incidentals each year.

Support to Students for Participating in Competition Abroad (SSPCA)

AICTE SSPCA (Support to Students for participating in Competition Abroad) scheme is a travel grant scheme for a student or a team of 2 to 6 students of AICTE approved Diploma, B.E/B.Tech, Integrated M.Tech, M.E/M.Tech, MBA,MCA and Hotel management for attending competition at an international level in order to encourage engineering students to improve their knowledge in technical education.
This initiative fosters a culture of research, innovation and competition amongst the students.

Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme – PMSSS

Objective of the Scheme is to build up capacities in youth of J&K, educate, enable and empowering them to compete in normal course, enhancing and boosting employment potentials in students of J&K. Total 5000 scholarship are given @ Rs. 100000/- as Maintenance Charges and academic fee as Rs. 30000/- to General Degree, Rs. 125000/- to Engineering Degree & Rs. 300000/- to Medical Degree each year.

AICTE-INAE TRAVEL GRANT SCHEME

An “AICTE-INAE Travel Grant Scheme” for Engineering Students to present papers abroad has been launched for enhancing the quality of engineering education in the country.

Smart India Hackathon 2019

A unique initiative to identify new and disruptive digital solutions for solving the challenges faced by our country under the program of Smart India Hackathon 2017. This event was held on 1st – 2nd April 2017 for 36 hrs non-stop competition. 9544 technology students, 598 problems statements, 29 different central govt. ministries, 26 different Nodal centres & funding of Rs. 3 Lakh per team for 100 qualified teams.

  • M.Tech Projects as Internship with Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)

    The main objective of the scheme is to nurture an innovation ecosystem that benefits the technologically deficient MSMEs and technical institutes both. 408 Small and Medium Enterprises have given requirement of 738 Technology students.
